Call for Letters of Interest: Expert Board Member Appointments
The San Bernardino Regional Housing Trust (SBRHT) is inviting qualified professionals to submit a Letter of Interest to serve as Expert Members on the SBRHT Board of Directors. These appointments will help guide the Trust’s regional efforts to expand affordable housing and address homelessness in San Bernardino County.
About the Opportunity
SBRHT is seeking two experts in housing or homelessness policy to join its Board as non-elected members. As required by Senate Bill 20 and the SBRHT Joint Powers Agreement, these experts will bring specialized knowledge to support informed decision‑making and strengthen regional housing strategies.
Who Should Apply
Individuals with demonstrated experience in areas such as:
• Affordable housing development or finance
• Homeless services and system planning
• Housing policy, land use, or community development
• Supportive housing or nonprofit housing leadership
• Community housing advocacy or policy research
Role & Commitment
• Two‑year volunteer term
• Participation in scheduled Board of Directors meetings
• Provide professional expertise on housing and homelessness issues
• Support development of regional policies, programs, and priorities

Applicants must submit a formal Letter of Interest that includes:
• Summary of qualifications and relevant experience
• Description of expertise in housing or homelessness
• Statement outlining your interest in serving on the Board
